Our
Fabrics
Our fabrics are very important to us and sometimes take the lead when we create our garments. The base fabrics are always of high quality, often some weave of silk, linen, hemp or wool. We source organic or fair trade fabrics wherever possible but without compromising the quality of the clothes.
Dyes are metal free and contain no banned amines.
Details
It is the decorative detail we apply that make the garments unique, unlike any others. These techniques include felting, Shibori dyeing, dip-dyeing, freehand embroidery, distressing and cutwork. We favour raw edges (with stitch lines to limit fraying) contrasting with perfectly finished French seams.
Garment Care
We recommend that pieces are hand or machine washed at 30°C and felted pieces be hand washed gently in cold water with either soap or hand-wash detergent.
